    Tubi exhaust for 4200

I have a pair of rear s/s silencers for a 4200 by Tubi Style. They were supplied with my last car but not fitted. The previous owner had them on the car for minimal mileage but the original units were refitted just prior to my purchase and as such are in excellent condition. The clamps are also...

    Cel light! - 4200CC

Just posting this for info. I had a cel on Saturday, a mile into a potential 200 mile round trip. Everything seemed normal but being cautious I turned back and used the Alfa instead. My dealer checked the Maserati today on the SD tester and it indicated a possible flat battery - clearly not the...

    Scan Tool

Just thought I'd share my experience re DIY diagnostic tools. My other toy is a Morgan Roadster which threw up a CEL [sounds familiar!] during a trip back from the Factory in Malvern. Since everything was running ok I assumed the fault was eroneous and carried on home. Having checked with the...

    Window regulator - 4200CC

Thought I'd relay some good news! After my window regulator failed recently I have finally got the car back. It was 2 weeks to get the part from Italy and the fitting was done in a further day. HOWEVER, as one fault was fixed another occurred whilst at the Main Dealer. The multi-plug was...

Spare wheel for 3200 - and the rest!

The original owner of my 3200 was too mean to specify the 'optional' spare and tools in 2000 - penny pinching on a car costing over £60K at the time! Therefore when it became mine [for a lot less] in 2009 I decided I wasn't going to rely on the can of goo that was supplied instead. So when...

    Style error!

Given that Fiat is the owner of our brands I take an interest in what they do to their cars. The Grande Punto was said to have a look of the 4200 [and a Mito has a bit of the 8C] so how did the facelift[!] new Punto get out? It looks like they stuck a comedy moustache on the front. I hope those...

    Diesel!

I have to confess I'm running an Alfa [GT] on DIESEL. Having always said that the devil's fuel is for tractors and Land Rovers I find that this thing has loads of torque, is very economical and sounds bl**dy horrible. However I do have a few quid over to fill the Maserati with 'Super'.

    Recommendation for alloys refurb.

For those living in and around the East Midlands I can recommend an excellent alloy wheel repairer. I've just had mine done [one at a time!] by 'Alloy Wheel Repairs' in Melton Mowbray. Tyres were removed/refitted with new valves and balancing as part of the service. Each wheel was stripped...

Thought I'd use the same handle

Same people [probably], similar stuff, different forum - it must be worth a go - and Alfa's as well! Well done to those involved but I hope this venture doesn't cause any ill-feeling. John 3200GTA Alfa GT
