Ok thanks conaero, so somewhere between the rear light and number plate lights there will be a break? Worst come to worse could I not just extend wiring on the side lights to run off the same as the number plate light?

Hi all, Picked up my 2010 GT S midweek and wow ... The sound! One niggly problem though is that with both keys, when I turn it off and take the key out the alarm either goes off straight away or waits until I've closed the door and moved the key half metre away before going mental again...

Elephant are v good, my jag xkr cost under £500 when I was 23, and GT S under 900 fully comp now I'm 25 - they don't mess you around with £3k compulsory excesses either!! Not sure how much of that is a factor or points though.

Thanks wattie, pretty compelling, it has to be the 4.7. I had the XKR as I knew the XK would be boring in comparison and found myself longing for the XKR-S! In your experience what are the must gets in one? Bose check, FMSH check, ideally with the big service just done ... Those car covers...
