Hi, I found out my car lost power, and identified the LH turbo spins less easily than the RH one. Using compressed air on the turbine (after getting an access to them), the RH side spins easily with some air shot on the vanes and will continue for at least 3 sec, while the LH will stop directly...

I have just removed mine. The exhaust flanges on the turbo side are 8mm Allen hex. I used a shortened allen key with wd40 and a tube to have the required torque, when it was easy enough, I used a vise-grip as a faster way to undo them. For the upper allen bolt, I used a 3/8in square 8mm allen...

If I may also be on the list please, I would rather go for stainless than rechroming mine...

To reply to the upper water pipe holder that prevents removing the stud, I used a dremel to create a gap just wide enough to slide the tab out of the stud. The nut, when placed, still holds the water pipe firmly. Just did 1/2h ago.
