    Differential and gearbox oil

Differential Manual says to replace differential oil with SHELL Spirax S 75W140. I can't find that, would Pennzoil 75W140 Full Synthetic Gear Oil work instead? Or should I use Redline 75w140 instead? It looks like they both meet the specs, but what's best in your opinion? I think I need about...

    Oil leak or coolant leak?

I'm looking at the parts catalogue. The coolant pump and oil pump do not look joint, each have their individual pump, nor are they joint by the same shaft. Oil level is fine. Coolant was at minimum couple of months back, which I topped off then. After topping coolant, I went under to inspect...

    Oil leak or coolant leak?

I noticed a liquid substance when I was under the car, on the underside of the coolant pump. The coolant looks like it was mixed between red and yellow, but it also looks like oil. I can't seem to tell. Anyone have any idea what and where this leak may come from? Thanks

    RH trunk inspection panel

What's behind the RH side inspection door in the trunk of a Maserati granturismo? Looks like I'm missing a module there.

    DTC codes B1014 and B1020

I cleared the b1014 code and ran individual active tests on front right head light (on all bulbs but individually), right side blinker and rear right lights. The only test that generated the error right after light came on were the rear position light led (first line of led strip from the top)...

    DTC codes B1014 and B1020

Can someone please take a photo of their fuse box in front of the driver seat and post it (granturismo)?

    DTC codes B1014 and B1020

B1020 resolved, thanks! B1014 still has me confused though. It clicked in my head, this might be related to the fact that this car was imported to Canada (which requires daylight running lights). I noticed that when the vehicle is on, the headlights are always on and the headlight switch...

    DTC codes B1014 and B1020

On to the next problem. I have a check right side light signal on my dashboard. I connected an Autel ms906ts (very useful) and ran a diagnostic test on all modules. On the NBC (body computer) module, it picked up two codes related to that check light: B1014 - RH position lights - O.C. (Both)/...

    Crank pulley chirp

I ordered the pulley tension. In the meantime, I'm continuing to study this entire system to better understand it. There isn't much behind the harmonic balancer that can cause that chirp (see picture). There's just a gasket. The grease I sprayed may have been spun off and landed on other parts...

    Crank pulley chirp

Also, if it was an alignment issue, the noise would have temporarily disappeared or diminished when I sprayed the belt with water. In my case that did not happen at all.

    Crank pulley chirp

You are referring to bulletin 200722 for models M138 and M139. The cause of that noise is the auxiliary belt due to angle caused by alternator being to forward. Not sure alignment is the issue here. I looked at that already, the alternator angle is off by 1 or 2 degrees on my car. I have a...

    Crank pulley chirp

I already replaced all belts. Here's a more thorough explanation of what I've done so far. I used the water spray method (I couldn't reach the crank pulley but sprayed water on the top pulleys and belt). Noise did not change. I replaced all auxilary belts anyways. I used a gator back (4060615)...

    Crank pulley chirp

I have a 2009 Maserati granturismo S, with 59000km. My crank pulley makes chirp noises once the engine warms up, only during idling. See these videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyY7f-juS-I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGRae2fWaug I sprayed lithium grease on the inside of the...
