Okay guys it's official. I now have a Maserati Spyder and a Maserati Gran Sport.

Picked up the Gran Sport in PA yesterday. It's the Nero black with carbon fiber everywhere. The clutch is about 86.55% and needs a bit of love. I will post pics after I wash it. I brought it back yesterday on a car hauler and it needs a bath.

Looking forward to ripping another clutch out and setting it up so it's stuck on stupid sensitivity with the KISS point. It's an awesome ride. I have to admit though I am glad I didn't add those side skirts to my Spyder. I've ridden in a few GSs and I really don't the fact you have to step over them.

His and hers? I don't know maybe Spring and Summer? More than likely it's the price I paid for it. To be honest had I not been where I am with working on these cars I wouldn't of even bought it. Pretty soon they will be giving them away and I will have a drive way full!!

Speaking on working on them one of the things I definitely did not think I would see on this later model car with only about 25,xxx miles on it was the rear tie rods. It basically took me 2-3 hours to inspect this car. The biggest shocker to me was the fact when I jacked up the back rear wheels and took them each side by side it needed tie rods. It wasn't bad but I could definitely feel it. It again proved to me that this not limited to the older Spyders or Coupes, or even high mileage.

I appreciate it guys! To be honest if the dealerships over here continue not to know what they are doing you might find I have quite the collection of them! Can you believe a high end dealership serviced this car for 6 years and when I called to talk to them before I arrive in PA to check out the car they couldn't even give me a clutch wear read-out they previously recorded. That's to say nothing about solenoid leakage data, or min/max selection and engagement data. It was like I was speaking another language to them.
This dealership only sells exotics, Lambo, Ferraris, Bentleys, etc. They have normal cars as well but...........smh. The guy almost gave me the car, he couldn't take it anymore.

Awww Walker..........it's not like that brother. Lol.......I honestly feel about the same before I bought it though I do have a slightly bigger smile and all my neighbors do believe my supplemental income is drug dealing!

ROFL.........I don't even fight it anymore when they ask what did that cost? I just smile and look up to the sky like I am doing arithmetic. Then I say, "I guess it depends on how pure the kilos are!" Ha!

Craig - all tongue in cheek - if I could afford it I would have one of each model on the drive and bugger the neighbours!!!!!

I guess having 2 means you can share the mileage around.
