He paid £4500 for it , just over 3 years ago , it was a wreck , just imported from Japan , should think he has easily spent that again engine rebuilds etc , and is about to have it repainted , he has 3 sets of wheels all tyred up and has just fitted a new roll cage , so over £10k i should imagine and it still looks like a 25 year old car , i really wanna get him something decent but he wont have it , he 'says he's happy with what he 's got , and can afford , hard to put an old head on young shoulders

Have to disagree with you there Adam i have owned a couple of XJ6's the last of the proper ones with the XK engine in.
It was a Arthur Daley phase i was going through but a great driving car all the same.
