look they are similar just comes down to if you want 4 doors, i dont but can see the m5 being a lovely car either for yourself to drive or for you to drive your family, where the m6 is a singe mans car or a 2nd car

No i agree, personally i would have the M5, but because the M6 took harder hits depreciation wise so now they are excellent money. I felt sorry for the original purchasers of the M6 who lost about 25K in their first year.

i know, and you can get a decent one for that price now, i wouldn't buy a new car either, M3 CSL was another example, 60k new, they immediately lost 20K

M6 now as they are the same price used....Both under 30k for a good one..

Yes Adam I jave driven an M5 E60 and it was bloody fast but would take it over the E39....E39 far more fun.

cannot believe that within the next couple of years that cars like Bentley GT
and DB9 will be around the £25k price range and still look quite modern cars.
Thank you bankers for the recession

I know Andrew, it is hard to believe that a mint DB9 can be had for less than 40K right now when it was 125K new in a good spec.
