1980 car FM radio

Need something that will sit in my 1982 Renault, period 70/80’s nothing too flash, a cassette player would be awesome.

Currently there is nothing, just a blanking plate, has an aerial though

Has to look rubbish!

Anyone got anything in their loft or shed?

I remember clearing one out of the old man's garage. God knows where it came from. Probably his old escort mk1 estate or his Austin 1800. It had been lying around for years.

Hah! I actually have bought *two* pairs or Minimus 7 speakers since I binned the ones I had as a student

Pre din I think, it will take a single din size radio but it’s the old fashion slot and the two holes for the left and right knobs.

That’s really nice, classic look but modern lights etc

You could go modern and just stream to a hidden unit and then you have tunes and a really crappy no radio interior. Classic car stereo does those too. Just wire speakers in and power up.

Data storage….I will read the included manual. Full PCB schematic on the last page
