I have been considering part exing my Sport GT against a £40k Range Rover or Sport. I am in no hurry to do the deal with a 98459small dealer who frequently has decent low mileage 1 or 2 owner cars.

It has 56k miles, full service history, Larini Cats, recent discs and pads all round and one new front hub.

The dealer is offering me £10k.

Should I jump or try selling it privately?

What year is it and what gearbox is in it?
ZF cars with that mileage I would say 13-15k , condition , options, major maintenance etc.

How's the subframe ?

When looking to px my 2006 sport GT which has a little more spec than yours, but 85000miles I was being offered sub 8k - If I was offered 10k, I'd have taken it, yes it's worth more, but in the grand scheme of things, a few grand for no hassle and the car your after wins over.

10k doesn’t seem far off the mark for PX. Dealers are a tad scared of Maserati’s of this age. Private you could go 14k and see how you get on but it cold take some time. Lovely car by the way and they should be worth so much more.

I agree with Andy. £10k is a strong price for a part ex.
You might get a couple of K or so more for a private sale, but it could take months and you still might not.
If the dealer has the car you want (right model, spec, colour, etc) at the right price, I’d just do the deal.
