Hi guys, had my 2007 QP Sport GT for just 3 weeks from dealer, serviced properly, all going lovely then big rattling/ metallic noise from rear driver side brakes. Pads and disks seem fine - still 3mm on there (had local garage have a quick look to make sure nothing was dropping off/ it was safe etc), but they suspect that possibly a spring had come loose in the drum assembly. Obviously I'll raise this with the dealer after the bank holiday but your thoughts and ideas on what the problem is/ might be would be appreciated. Also, who is best for brakes? - I'm based in the midlands. Cheers.

Hi, thanks. Totally agree on the dealer point, I'm sure they'll be ok, but I just wanted to get an idea of what I was talking about before that conversation. Only 3 weeks in to ownership, a problem which I'm sure will be soon fixed and I'm already totally in love with this car, as is my wife and 2 sons. I think that I'm going to be in this forum for a long time!
Previously a Porsche owner I now know why people buy Porsches. - it's because like me, up until that point they've never driven a Maserati :thumb1: Cheers.
