Hi Folks,

What do you think of this one? 34k miles, silver with navy(?) blue leather. Looks good to me, but I'm not sure many people like silver any more. SkyHook was standard on the 4.7 but optional on the 4.2, so it probably doesn't have it. Wondering if any of you have experience of the standard suspension on these cars. I'm familiar only with the Sport GT with SkyHook.

Anyone had any dealings with XS Automotive?

My Sport GT S had Bilstein Springs and dampers as standard and I can say it was a joy to drive. Feels like a driver's car a lot more than the Skyhook set up. The QP in question here looks to be priced about right, and youll get some sort of warranty too.

If I was you, Id offer 24,500 and jobs a good one.

Car looks ok to me
Sunroof
Piano Black - all good
Maybe not the blue interior for me, but could possibly be ok with the exterior being silver - I would have to see it (just my taste don't you know)
I would go £22000 and haggle
Also true about the 4.7 alternatives

The price is about right - did you see that black 2010 4.2 with 44k miles sell on eBay for £25,200 at the weekend? I contacted the seller, but he was insistent not allowing at inspection/test drive after the auction to check it met the description. At 200 miles each way it wasn't worth me making the trip before it ended. The guy had SORNed it and used that as a reason for not taking it on the road. For the sake of £42 (the cost of 1 month's road tax)! Good luck to him and the buyer.

Not just your taste, my views too. Anyway, watch this space for interesting developments at the weekend...

No I missed the ebay one, being based in the bleak North East car prices are a tad lower than most other parts of the country
but of course so is the choice!

I viewed this last summer. Car seemed in good condition and i quite like the silver / blue combo. The dealer worked from home, which i eventually found, nice pad.
He would have done a deal on the price as i was in front of him, however i had a few more to see so didn't go for it. No reflection on the car or dealer though. ended up getting a 4.7s :)
