It's in the right ball park.
If you're not in a rush, wait till spring and the sun is out and see what interest you get.
There's quite a few cheaper than yours, and some of them seemingly great value, but I do feel that with the paint, MC sport line, carbon packs, alcantera and new clutch, yours is worth the extra few £k.

The only problem is the general public won't know that, so your relying on someone that's done their research to come along.

Also, you state stradale suspension. I assume your car has the MC handling pack along with being a genuine sport line ? On the build sheet should say MCHP.
If so, it's 10mm lower, fixed rate dampers (much better and less hassle than sky hook) has bigger ARBs, and has different MSP /TCS software.
If it has got MCHP along with all your other bits, it'll be worth elaborating on the advert.
That way, the people that don't know all this stuff, can see the difference between yours and others for sale.

It's a rare beast, so sell it as one!

If I was in the market for a pre-face-lift, yours would would be top of my list as it has all the rare extras I was looking for.

If you need a quick sale, than price it the same as an equivalent age/milage one without your rare options and yours should sell first.

Thanks for that advice. You're right, I can probably wait as you say and I'll update the ads regards your suggestion for MC handling pack (which it has).

Yeah, I noticed your car as I try to keep an eye on things that come up locally. I think it looks great. You could try and do a deal with somewhere like Magari if it proves difficult to shift(?) ... I'd have one but it's the £695 road tax that holds me back. I'd really resent having to pay that for the pleasure of doing 3k miles a year!

Admiteddly the road tax really sucks - but that is a consequence of the government and country we live in. It could be worse, you could live in Ireland! It's a cost you just have to accept to own something like this and of course you can SORN for those periods where you may want it sat inside a nice garage. If you use a good Indie garage, you'll save costs there that perhaps offset the road tax. It is what it is!

Less than 1/2 cup of coffee a day... and I know which I would rather have.

I’ve heard about people refusing to buy a certain car for this reason, yes, it’s exorbitant, but refusing to pay it is cutting off your nose to spite your face. It’s also a very small percentage of the depreciation and running costs of ownership of a Supercar.

It's silly, you spend £25-30k on a toy and complain about a few hundred quid tax - less if you sorn during winter months. Much more expensive here €2380 per annum and that's before you been hit with VRT, Import duty and VAT bringing it over.

Totally. Most fairly normal 'big' cars are way beyond £300 for tax - it's not just these kind of cars. Like I said, it's a cost you have to just swallow and shouldn't stop you spending another £28,800 (on my car) :p

To be fair to the GT the road tax on any new car over £40k is going to be about the same for the first six years. But yes, if you look at total cost of ownership I reckon £695 is about 7% of what the car will really cost per annum, if you actually use it year round, do a few miles in it and take everything into account. However, most other costs are variable and you have some level of choice, but there’s no choice with road tax …

Come on!! Where are the buyers at?!?

Very limited market for V8 cars that do under 20 MPG these days. They can take ages to sell but hang in there as you have a lovely car that the right buyer will be along I am sure.

I’ve been asking myself that question for a year, with my 3200 … They do seem to sell at auction though, so that maybe something to try(?). I’m considering it myself.

The only thing with an auction is people want a bargain and trying to get what you want will be a struggle I would imagine. It a tough market at the moment.
