I have been a member of several other internet forums, including another car brand forum for about 5 years. It was a good place to learn about the cars and find help when you needed it. However, there were too many arrogant, opinionated and often abusive members who liked nothing better than putting other members down, often ganging up on a member who had dared to express an opinion contrary to theirs. In the end I got sick of it, it was no longer a pleasure to participate.

I lurked here for a little while as a guest before I joined. To be honest I was astonished by the difference. Lots of banter and ribbing for sure, but all in good humour and with genuine respect for each other. And a desire to welcome, help and support fellow members with their cars and anything else they wish to share with the forum.

Matt you have clearly set the right tone from the outset, and the Mods and all other members follow your lead. It really is a fantastic place to spend time and you should all feel very proud of the community you have created.

Well said RWC this is the best place to be. Glad I found it the day I bought my 4200 seams a long time ago now but the ride has been fantastic.

Another thanks from me, was invaluable when searching for my car, and now I have her, a wealth of information. It is also good to know that if a problem occurs, then it has probably been seen/resolved before, and the help will be here if needed.
