Now you believe me! If they don't meet and get it sorted before June 14th, it will take more than a day or two for everything to get back to normal. Hateful situation.

There's no chance of it being cancelled. There's massive pressure to get it all sorted before the Euro 2016 matches, since inability to get to those will cause much more upset than the Le Mans event, big as it is in the motorsport world. I just wanted SMers to realise how serious the situation is, and not turn up in Calais with the blind hope that everything will be completely normal! Should be a fair market in cans of fuel though

Dfds Seaways states that NO extra fuel can be taken . I will be taking some hiden somewhere in the car . If it get s found then i get confiscated .. i can live with that

doubt they will find it, I reckon you can leave it on the backseat and no one will bother to look

Yes i agree . They wont bother looking . There will be big signs up saying stricly no fuel cans . And they won't even look as there is never anyone there .

The French are more likley to check when you get off the boat . your only aloud to bring 10 litres into France.

Www.essence.fr shows open and stock of all petrol station in your area. Best try at night it's getting a hammering at the moment and won't load

I need 1 20l can to make it there as a backup, I may take empty cans and fill them over there.

I have got off the phone to a client who lives in France.......He says its bad out there, he has not driven his car for a week and keeping his 1/4 tank of fuel for emergencies......

im keeping some back for emergencies . Incase we run out of gin
