Hello looking for advice

Now the weather is good have been using the car more now, only managed 250 miles between Oct - Feb, one a run last week I had to que for about 10 minutes to park, the temp gauge went past the 90 mark, which it hadn't done before, then again I haven't been in any traffic.

Have read numerous threads on SM, decided to order a new resistor, couldn't do any harm, fitted today, ran the car upto 90 expecting fans to click in....nothing, went past 90 again, checked fuses, 2 x 50 amp in the bulkhead fuse box, no obvious breaks. Bridged the 2 wires for the resistor as I gather from previous threads this will switch them on continuously...not a sausage.

Not sure where the next check would be, relays in the bulkhead fuse box?

May have to go to an indie, but hoped to do it myself as it seemed a simple job!

Previously it has not gone above 90, and you could hear the fan/s when the ignition was turned off spin to cool the engine

First port of call is to put a power probe on the fan motor and check it is still functional. Assuming it is, then check the wiring back to the fuse board and that the relays are functioning. If they are then the wiring then goes to the ECU in the drivers footwell. There is also a connector by the front right shock mount that needs to be checked.
