Just something to bear in mind, if a cooling fan is not working please check the electrical connectors on the top of the radiator before ordering a replacement fan. I had the left hand fan not working and used a pin probe to check that at temperature power was going to the fan which it seemed to be so assumed that the fan was faulty (the left hand connector is jammed under some pipework and could not be disconnected). When I eventually dismantled everything and with brute force separated the connector the fault was actually caused by the contacts in the connector having burnt out, the internal plastic had also melted which is why the connector would not come apart, when checking the right hand connector this also had signs of heavy arcing although it had not failed so it seems that this may not be a unique issue. If you have a left hand fan (offside) not working and cannot get to or separate the connector I would suggest very slightly splitting the sheathing of the wiring down to the fan and using a pin probe on this wiring to check power is getting past the connector. I now have a spare working cooling fan if anyone is in desperate need sometime.
