3200 exhaust - 200 cell cats and x pipe

Hello. I am looking to replace the standard cats and centre section with something racier, but without breaking the bank (by which I mean an alternative to the Larini items). I have read advice to the effect that one could buy off the shelf sports cats, and get a specialist exhaust centre to fabricate the pipework along with an x pipe. Has anybody gone down this road on a 3200? If so, I would be interested to know if it worked out well, where the cats and x pipe were purchased from, and who you used for the fabrication work. A mechanic friend of mine thinks that ground clearance could be an issue with off the shelf cats. Much obliged.

I am looking at this; I am going to speak with infinity (near Bristol). Might be worth asking for a multiple sell discount if your not a million miles away?

They have a couple of 3200's on their site along with a Quattroporte.

I'm in Bedford area, but no problems travelling. Would be interested to know how you get on. Infinity look to have done the back end, as it were, which is the easy bit. My concern is that on a 3200 the tricky bit is in getting sports cats and centre sections to work without comprosing clearance. Would be good to hear from anyone who has gone down this route already. Thanks.
