I know, I know... I've got a pretty healthy racing addiction that seems to swallow up all my pride & joys!!!

Although it would be nice to release the cash from it to go towards a new rally car after I killed one the back end of last year, if it's not sold in 5 weeks I'm keeping it :D It's been a daily driver until I put it up for sale, no point it being sat in the garage waiting to be used... D-Day will be 30th March, if it's not gone by then it will be back in daily use...

Good 3200's are becoming increasingly difficult to find and yours looks like a peach. I'd be tempted to hang on to it. Definately going to be a collectors car in years to come......... Good Luck

Hey Andy,

Nope, only once and not for over 2 years... got it checked when it did and for the life of me I cant' remember what it was, it was something arbitrary, I think I tried to start the car with a failing flattish battery after been left for a week, since that issue I replaced the battery with one of those Uber expensive Gel jobs and not had an issue with it since...

Had very few issues with the car, biggest failure was the rear loom becoming worn which knocked out my lights and boot opening intermittently, was an easy fix and was repaired by Modena Trident... Apart from that it's only needed servicing and when the Chains/Belts were done and the engine came out expected things like unions on transmission cooling pipes and things like that were corroded and replaced... and typical luck I have, 2 weeks out of big service I got a hole in the radiator so a new one went on the next day... anything it ever needed it got!

Hi Fella's,

Thanks for the kind words... I'm sure the new owner will turn up here at some stage to say hello. It was a successful deal, I think he's happy with what he paid and I'm happy with what I got and it wasn't too far away from advertised price. He's picking the car up on Friday so will pass the forum details to him then. I think in theory he came through Pistonheads but it was someone involved with the forum there that suggested he look my way...???

lozcb, same here, it has been a pleasure Pal, and not that I'm expecting to disappear, Maserati ownership is still on the cards for the future, a GS next I reckon... So it's not entirely going into a Scooby, that's all fully funded by the sponsor but after killing a rally car last year I do need to bring a small offering to the table to at least support my own travel etc. this year... Beware, racing can seriously damage you pocket! Also I can't bare to have cars sat around surplus to requirements, which is where the 3200 ended up, my Dodge Charger went the same way, when it only moved it's wheel’s 4 times a year for the last couple of years it was time for it to go... These cars need using!!!

Cheers

Rog

Hey no worries, tis the lads loss not mine... I'd arranged to have a run into London today to meet a mate for lunch, I was sad I wasn't going to use the 3200 but I got the call earlier enough today that I got to drive it in :)

Anyone out there interested in the car, get yer skates on because I hate selling cars and if it ain't gone soon I'm keeping it!!!
