3200 handbrake shoes.

Was looking through the europarts web site and noticed they had handbrake shoes available at £22.95 less discount code EGGCP25 worked out at just over £17 including free delivery. I have ordered a set ready for when mine need replacing.

Um, you do know that is each don't you, plus VAT and delivery you are up to about £100 and the glue is not good on the OEM shoes and they fall off eventually.

£35 relined from Belfast Brakes if you quote this forum and that is all in, including postage, far superior material and its bonded on with the same stuff they use to stick ships together apparently.

You of course have to take yours off and send them away which is a bit of a ball ache but well worth the effort.

As far as I am aware this is for a set, we will see when they arrive. I don't doubt the quality of Belfast Brakes but my maserati shoes have never fallen off in 4 years so I am willing to take a chance with these, just don't leave it in the garage with the handbrake on. I will also then have a set of shoes that i can get relined without having to take the car of the road, and even loan to forum members.

I thought that then one turned up in the post (from ES), it was about £25 plus vat and postage.

This was about 4 years ago.

I would give them a call now, really I would.

If you see here, you will see the part description says quantity fitted 4, that means you need this item 4 times for the set.

I know eurospares sell them sepertaly but I have orded from Europarts and it shows 4 in the description box. I will am wondering myself now but will let you all know if I have got it wrong next week when I receive then or it.

When Bob Houghtons replaced mine [Emergency job just before the big holiday where I got engaged...hmm maybe I should have left the brakes on! haha] They bought from Eurospares...called me up and said the quoted prices was 50% over as when the parts arrived there were two sets...so job done at almost 1/2 price.

I have checked the diameter of the shoes 180 mm diameter and they are correct. The width of the show is 25mm but there are some slight differences to those in the photos in your post of October 2010. These are, the shoes are not handed left and right, the shape of the metal shape is slightly different, and the centre hole in the shoe is different.

I have tried to attach a photo but every time I do this my system just crashes from the site but I can email it to anyone if they want it.

Hi together

when ordering the brake shoes for an 3200 from eurocarparts I got four of these Pagid H8230


when comparing to here one can see the holes for the springs are a bit more "universal"

hope this dosn`t matter.. any ideas ?
