I would have thought you should be able to feel 8psi of boost coming in. Obviously you are around 10psi down if max boost is 18psi/1.2bar. It looks like it's a problem in boost management which is probably going to be cheaper to fix than a turbo rebuild. Could be a waste gate problem or an air leak. Apparently, the base of the plenum chamber is a notorious leak point. It seems you are sniffing along the right path!

Have done the wastgates as one was sized and there is 100% no leaks tested all that side of it its gota be boost side of thing I think and a weak coil doing that today and will do something with boost control valve and hope it is all ok ;-)

Omg I found it was a plug that feeds the wastgate valve next to the T/B I bet there are lots of under boosting 3200gt's out there 2times the power now ;)

if you look at the throttle body to to left of it you see a small valve with small (vac) pipes this is the valve that controls the boost for turbos remove this valve make sore you no what pipe go's where there is a small black plug remove this cut it off and fit to bullet connectors red ones fit nice clean up the valve and refit it all its a 15min job and most 3200gt's will get this fault as its a very bad cheap plug give it ago even if your car runs ok if you need to test the valve when its off just put a 12v to it (it will click )

Lee,
Well done, so you are now getting something like the kick you should be getting from your 3200, if it's not smiling quick on acceleration, then you have a bit more to do.
Cheers

hi ! Thx for this tip !

Have you noticed some oil deposit on right intake air hose or after throttle body ?

This valve is situated under (the 2) air filter, a bit next to ? like a bypass turbo to air Hose induction ? mentioned "pop-off valve" or "wastgate" in manual ?

no oil in mine tho if there is a small bit its fine most pipes will suck some in from engine vac pipes most think oil in inlet or pipes is a sine of turbo falling but this is not the case at all most of the time if your turbo is falling you will be burning oil so will be smoking bule. And the vave is a wastgate control valve pop of valves just vent boost from high to low side to keep turbos going I can post a pic if it helps

Can you post some pictures ?

I get a little deposit of oil in the left air intake ( the right when you are front of your car).
My car don't smoke, but i find some burned deposit on rear bumper, and smal leak under exaust.

I think oil is coming from oil-vapor convertissor, and re-injected in air intake.

Any idee ?

Sorry not been about for a while all turbo car will get abit of oil run past them if your spark plugs are Ok and you engine don't smoke blue at all its most probably fine it may well be road **** on your rear bumper thanks to the rear bumper and flat *** of the 3200gt best to do a conpresson test to make sure no gas's are passing into the block pushing oil into to inlet if your plugs are all the same and you have no blue smoke and run 1bar 14 ish psi of boost you will be fine
