when you guys put your car in for a timing belt service do you source the parts yourself or leave for the garage to source and what else do you get done at same time to save double garage time? thinking lambda sensors as a start point in particular.
TB not due till next year but will probably put in this autumn just to be safe........

Shilltech get a decent price on the parts so I leave it to them. It makes sense to take a good look at the water pump too but I think that probably goes without saying. Good luck & I hope they don't find any cans of worms

Outrun had it brought up to spec by PK in edinburgh in feb before I got her last month so not expecting any "COWs".......WP seems a good call though to consider.

The lambda sensor secret is in your service records. Gimme a call tomorrow.
not experiencing any probs with LSs mate, they were just an example but will get in touch........even if just to remind you how good this car is!:excellent:

The Lambdas were done by Gareth a couple of years ago and there is an invoice in the history for them. The source only sells to "trade" and the cost is about a quarter of the dealer price. You can repair old sensors by leaving the dirty contact section in lemon juice overnight too. It eats off the deposits and leaves them clean and shiny again.

I'm sure I should have charged more... :)
