Thanks all. I should have think of 0221. I did refurnish this part so I guess it must be playing up again.
Just clear the code and see if it comes back again. Not sure if it is an independent issue or related to the
knock and crank sensors as I need to have these two parts replaced according to the OBDII reader.
Idle RPM is fluctuating in the first coupe of minutes.

Have you done a calibration on the pedal sensor recently? They move with temperature it could be the warm weather? it a very quick job.

I assume that this is the usual turn ignition on for 2 minutes for the rest point and pres pedal for 5 seconds for the full throttle davy?

Thanks Gents. I did a drive this morning and no more 0x0221 error code. Only the 0x0331 knock sensor error waiting to be sorted. I will do another throttle calibration again. Weather is **** on over her at nearly 100 degree F in the noon.
I know these Italian beauties don't get used to the hot weather.

yes car in Neutral switch one and for idle leave it for 2 minutes then power off and for full throttle same car in Neutral leave it for 10 seconds (book says 5 but i find 10 is more reliable). Switch off ignition between these two calibrations, and ideally put it in P switch on briefly between (if its an auto). Make sure there is nothing in the footwell that can get in the way of the largish bolt that is the end stop for the throttle pedal. if there is carpet or anything in here it makes the idle position move around and it wont like that.

That's again Gents. Will do a throttle reset as suggested. Never realized the 10 seconds magic as I only did 5 seconds as per the manual before.
