That is an awful lot of work to achieve what he has and the standard of work doesn't look terrible, it's just the end result that's questionable

I think its 'interesting'...as you say a lot of work to produce something that is questionable in the style stakes but clearly a lot of effort has been made.

I think the original 4200 front lights are out of place and had they been done the front would look a lot better.

Yo would never get the full look as the donor car is far too long...would like to see the photos of the work in progress as the end results seem to be of a decent engineering standard.

Initial impression was vomit...but after having a good look at it, its rather cleaver what has been done. OK its an abomination but someone has put a lot of thought and effort into it.

Would I have one, definitely not.

Its not simply a quick job, the boot, rear quarters and arch, front wings, bumpers and bonnet have all been modded.

I like the 8C. I'd probably buy one if I had the money. That just doesn't do it for me though. It'll turn heads, but its a bit meh.

A long time running argument between my brother and me, his profession is a vehicle designer so I suppose he may have a more valued opinion than a Building Surveyor!!
4200 rear back lights or the 3200 'Hockey Stick rear lights?

Personally, I prefer the 4200, I think they look less dated (although I maybe slightly bias)!!

I actually don't mind the 42/GS rears but really? you think the 32 rears are more dated looking than them? more expensive looking maybe, more stylish looking maybe....but more dated looking, I don't think so..;)

Hi Greg
I know I'm in a minority here as I don't think I have come across anyone else who agrees with me. I have even heard of people converting their 42 back lights to hockey sticks. The world would be a very boring place if we all had the same opinion! They are certainly more quirky than the 42's!
Both look fantastic from the rear :)

For what its worth I rather like the rear light treatment, but not the wheels or front grill. I ca however admire the skill in producing it as a one off
