4200 Airbag pre-tensioner and passenger airbag deactivation lights on.

I’ve got a problem with red airbag/ pretensioner light staying on and the yellow passenger airbag deactivation light flashing. I’ve tried turning the power of overnight and then turning back on but the problem remains. Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can clear them?

It could be the airbag deactivation switch on the side of the dash, there are some threads about that. Otherwise it will need the codes reading.

What Zep said, just to add even once the fault has been rectified you will still need the correct diagnostic tool to turn them lights off on the dash.
Stupid idea I know.

Thanks Guys I’ll try activating and then deactivating to see if that works. Don’t know why it’s come on all of a sudden, I haven’t done anything differently.
