Hi Guys looking for some help,
I'm trying to iron out the little niggles on my Cambiocorsa ready to sell, unfortunately I don't drive her enough as i spend months at sea. I have just picked the car up after 3 months away and the blowers, wipers and washer pump has stopped working; after a half hour drive it all started to work again!!

Next day same thing. I previously had the same issue, but that was due to the ignition key not reverting to the correct position (I used a tiny bit of dry silicone grease and the ignition returns to the correct position).

I've trawled the treads and found something yesterday about wiggling the key in the ignition before starting the engine?? Really?? That's not a suitable fix for me and especially wouldn't want to pass that on to a new owner.

Anybody have a clue? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for that, I wasn't sure of the correct relays. I did check the fuses on Sunday and they are all good, I will check the relays and see if that works.

Ahh, that wouldn't be great, but i'd have to replace it before I sell it.

Its a known issue the spring in the ignition switch weakens and wont return the switch to the correct position.

The three things that wont work until it does are wipers , indicators and the heater fan.

There is a thread on here somewhere on how to replace. iirc the parts about £50 and a diy install but one of the fixings may need to be drilled due to it awkward location.

I think the how to thread was on catmans old 4200.

Message wack61 im pretty sure he replaced the part on his and can tell you the method.

I think that may well be the case, now you remind me! Didn't happen in my ownership but do recall that Wack may have suffered

Likely the ignition switch is failing, I reckon. Not unheard of on these

It's pretty straightforward to do but I've slept a lot since then, , it must be easy if i did it :D

Unfortunately it didn't cure my problems , still the same after so it wasn't the ignition switch on mine, sold it soon after as was , I was done chasing electrical faults.

I do recall the part was much cheaper than I was expecting.
