I am unsure if I have satellite, but I was told by other member that all the cars had gps satellite but Maserati just left out the gps antenna on cars that the customer didn't want gps.. So I was told if I just hook up the gps antenna the dish will appear and ill be good to go., So I been thinking about getting one based on price. Does the antenna come with all wiring?.

Lorenz. Almost right. The antenna on the 4200 fits under the center dash top vent and plugs into the rear of the NIT unit but you will need to check yoir NIT has the spare square socket at the rear. For this you will need to dismantle the arm rest.

If you have the spare socket then you can up grade but will also need the navigation softwear disk NOT the road map disk. This ten needs to be loaded onto the NIT by acessing the hidden menus on the system that requires you to press keys in a sequence.

If you are able to get the above let me know and I will supply the acess codes.

I did this myself and it took about an hour to fit and load.
