I spent yesterday going from Lincolnshire to just north of Aberdeen and back in a friends Quattroporte Sport GT.
We did 850 miles altogether with just a 15 min petrol and snack stop each way.

I navigated there and drove it back.
I did the first 30 or so miles on B roads and similar and was amazed at how this car handled for such a large car. You forget about its size totally and just enjoy the drive. It's amazing something this big feel so nimble.

As Modern Classics said in their otherwise rather churlish review - "There is no nicer place to be on a long journey."

Now I know the Ashvale chippie is pretty good but 850 miles for a fish supper? ;)

There have been a couple of great threads recently - good SM folk documenting their trips abroad. With plenty of photos. Not compulsary of course - but seeing these superb cars in wonderful locations brings a great deal of joy.
