I get the importance of giving the driver feedback in the form of sonics from the engine - when there is actually an ICE there - but with an electric car, adding synthesised V8 sounds is providing the same kind of fantasy that a Vegan must get from eating a vegetarian sausage!

I have an electric pushmower for the strips I can't reach with the tractor deck...I can't imagine how dumb it would be for it to have a piped 2 cylinder engine note.
