A few QP questions...

Picked up my facelift QP Sunday and loving it so far but I've just got a few questions;

How do I find out what were optional extras on my car? Is there a data-card check up anywhere?

The drivers window seems a little slow, is this likely to be the regulator needing greasing or something else like a replacement?

When in Sport mode, how do I wipe the big daft grin off my face?

1. Maserati MD will be able to provide you with the spec sheet for your car.

2. Put a little lubrication on the window seal - bet that helps a lot. Worked on mine very well.

3. Can't help you there!

I remember the first time I engaged Sport Mode in mine
It was on a quiet back road and I still cannot decide if it was a smile of fun or fear!

I do it regularly now......................

I've had other cars with what purport to be Sport buttons but the QP is something else, turns into a different car.

Seems the same in the GT. Far more pronounced than in the 4200 in my opinion

Try driving it in the rain on a cold day on summer tyres in Sport. Might remove the smile!

Sport is great in the dry or damp, warm days, otherwise can be hairy.

Yes, I've just exchanged contracts on three properties up in Newcastle I'll be renovating, I'll be commuting the 240 miles a day initially in my L200 but then a diesel snotter of some description and as the wife won't drive the QP it's got to go.

Now that has got to be one of your shortest tenures has it not?

Sounds like a good business opportunity though?

Yes, great car and I'll buy another at some point.

I'll be on the renovations until Spring at least plus I'm waiting to exchange on three others so it could well last until this time next year.

You couldn't make this up! So much for happy ever after!

Good luck with the renovations and there will be another QP waiting for you at the end of the rainbow!

Yup, good luck with the returbs Lee. Also with the QP sale. Going to be tough to sell a QP this time of year. Unless it is silly cheap of course. Knowing you I'm sure you haven't paid strong money for it

It sells for what it sells for Dean, I've just spent a big lump buying these houses so selling a circa £20k car isn't that big of a concern to be honest!

I'm sure it'll find a new home soon enough.

Unbelievable! You look for a year, ask a hundred questions, and then sell after two weeks. But such is life.

At least you know to buy a proper one (GTS) next time.

Good luck with the houses.
