Hi Adam, yes it is an LE. I was thinking of getting the alloys recoated in mercury grey colour like my Maserati. I've seen them on a 159 LE and it looks great.

Don't mind at all Dem I paid £16.567. It was originally advertised for £17950, they knocked it down to £16.950 and with a bit of bartering I finally got it for £16.567. I bought it from Maridian Milano in Bournmouth I found them really good to deal with.

There was one in Glasgow for about the same price with a little less milage...but too far to go, One in Plymouth for £16.900 with only 9800k, it had 19" alloys but wasn't an LE and the colour combo wasn't as nice. I did enquire by email but they never came back to me. There also was one in Northampton which was very similar to mine, same colour combo, same milage and similar price but like Plymouth they never responded to my email enquiry. Maridian seemed the only ones interested in selling cars!! I think I got a fair deal?

I think they are generally good value for the money. I think 15k would get you a really good 07 and maybe even an 08 if you look hard enough. I don't even think they loose much in value as a new spider is around 24k for the 1750 tbi @ 232 bhb, a lot of car!

A really stunning car looks fantastic , Kaz has wanted one , would of had one if they did the roof in a foldable tin top, she's sold on the shape and loves the front , she would even be happy to have the diesel version , but she's so unsure re the noise with a cloth roof


What are your thoughts/ conclusion re the noise at motoway speeds

I understand your concerns Loz but there're not to bad actually, obviously not as quiet as a tin top but they are double skinned so not as noisy as you might think. In fact we drive back from bournmouth and it was fine quite quiet actually, we spoke at normal level and the sound system is great with great sound when driving. I had a bmw 3 series convertible, I'd say the alfa is as good as the bmw. I gotta say Loz I'm really happy with it, it's gone a long way to easing the pain of selling the masser because it's so lovely to look at.
