Brake disk wear is actually really light.
No advisory on MOT's etc and we always aim for each visit to be end with a completely clean bill of health.

Sept 2022 - New Hand brake shoes
July 2022 - New rear brake shoe spring set

I will be creating a proper advert on Autotrader at the end of the week... but I really wanted to offer this to people who actually understand what they are looking at first. I spent an age to find this car and even longer restoring / upgrading everything... so hoping to sell to an enthusiast or fan of the MGTs.
Apologies the photos are not completely uniform. Thanks for looking & sharing. :)

Lovely car, and good luck with the sale and all that..... But did you really have to spam so many threads with the same post? And not even a proper advert.

There is a classified section on the forum for this very thing.

Type up a nice advert with all the information a buyer would want to know- age, mileage, service history, modifications and price, along with some nice pictures showing all areas of the car.

Spamming the forum with an Instagram account isn't the way the sell a nice car and is just lazy.

Sorry for the rant. :worried1:
No these are all valid points fella. I was just trying to get a jump start on the autotrader masses, coming to joy ride a Maserati. Such a strange time... never thought I'd actually sell her to be honest... but London house deposits are mental. Thanks for your help though! :)

Lol , I remember putting mine up for sale, naively thinking the phone would be red hot. Good luck with the sale.
Uh oh... that doesn't sound good! How long did it take you? Did you get the price you wanted?

It's not a great time to be selling a £30k Maserati privately - not many folk around with £30k in cash and willing to risk on a private sale. I would consider auctions if you need the cash quickly or SoR via Nuvola or Richard Grace if you can wait.

Good luck! You may get a "bite" privately if you're lucky!!!!

Richard Grace recently sold a 2011 GT MC Shift for £28.950 with warranty and prepped and 35k miles.

I would alway use him as a barometer on values otherwise a seller is likely to have a long wait.

I have been looking for a GT for 2 years now... likelihood is I won't find it and move away from Maserati, selling my GS at the same time.

hmm, dont take the wrong way but todays market not the same as a year ago, big engine cars have price slumped pretty badly. i reckon you are easily about 5k over priced, if not even a tad more, especialy for a private sale.........i know i will be putting my 2009 up soon for 20.5 expecting 20 or even 19.5.......sadly, just the way things are at the moment.

2010, 43000 MC Shift for £29,950. Prices appear to be improving somewhat?

Really, doesn’t feel like. If Dicky is selling one under 30k then it doesn’t hold up much hope for the private sales to get anywhere near that as Dicky’s will be a fantastic sorted example. Never seen GT’s so low price wise. Plus there are the same cars hanging around in the classifieds at 25k. It is scandalous really when you see how much some of the other marques models go for.

Surely supply and demand, there are rather a lot of them compared to some others.

have been watching the autotrader market for quite a bit now and what strikes me is that private GT autos if priced right seem to be going quicker than GT MCs.........maybe clutch and brake costs scaring newcomers for the better car?

It is the second cheapest one we’ve ever sold. One sold last month at £28950 with slightly fewer miles but without the benefit of £4k worth of new clutch. It’s also an immaculate car with a clean bill of health.

Granturismo’s may have dropped a bit, but they haven’t taken as big a hit as EV’s though, and they are allegedly the future!

Therefore big old V8 still wins!
