Been driving a Mito all week whilst The Maser is being serviced. It is just a basic one but what a loveable little car and really quite nippy. Shame about some of the plastic finishes. I bet the GTA coming out later this year is going to be a *******:p

Missus drives one

It's only the 95bhp job mid range but it's a nice wee car to drive around town.

Can be a bit wheezy on the motorway but she doesn't drive on one of those very often.

I think the interior is nice for what it is - bit quirky and different.

Nice back up for the Mas.

How do you guys find the suspension? We had been thinking about one for the wife but on the road test it was really crashy over potholes and ridges and as it was intended as a town car we had real reservations. Haven't done anything since and still need to change her car at some stage.

Cheers

I have not driven one, but all I would say is go for the smallest wheel size with the fattest tyre, it makes an immense difference.

I had an owner of a newer 156 go in my old 156 banger with 16" wheels and big tyres, he was amazed at how nice it rode, saying his was terrible and low and behold he had 18" with rubber band tyres.

More expensive is not always better!

Matt the Alfa GT felt like it had no shock absorbers riding on 17" wheels...........the 18" upgrade whilst making the look better, gave a ride that I can only liken to having yourinternal organs ground. No expensive is definately not always the best route

The Mito is such a pretty little car....there is something special about small Italian cars....Alfa and Fiat....everytime I drive one it turns you into a hooligan. You come over all Italian and want to drive with your seat belt off and around roundabouts on two wheels........Such fun.

Andy a mate of mine has got in his stable the original Fiat 500 in lime green...............FULLY RESTORED and it does not look our of place with his collection of supercars.

By the way compared with Alfa 156 and Alfa GT the suspension of the Mito is not bad at all and certainly deals with potholes better than say a Mini Cooper

Lovely.
Just wish it were available with 5 doors.
Does anyone know if it will ever be made with 5, or is it just not possible.
If Peugeot/Citroen/Toyota can squeeze 5 into a C1/107/Aygo, surely Alfa can too.

HR Owen gave me one as a coutesy car whilst mine was being serviced. No complaints with it other than the interior was a bit cheap

The Panda was a 100 HP, which explains why they were fun!

I can't fall forthe Mito's looks, as much as I want to it looks like a bloater. Almost tolerable in black with the biggest wheels, but still not the lithe little Alfa I want to see again.

panda 100 hp will be my first car, prices permitting.

Adam if you can get insurance then a well sorted used Alfa would give you much more fun and street cred........when you are ready I maybe able to help since I know and understand Alfas much better than Maseratis. Saying I drive an Alfa Romeo just sounds so much better than I drive a Panda and the cost need not be much more
