Aftermarket Immobilisers?

Hi All,
Apologies if this has been asked/discussed before, but what is everyone's thought's on fitting after market immobilisers, such as GHOST/Pandora? Anyone got any experience or opinions if they are worth it, needed etc?

Personally I wouldn't bother, unless there is a benefit, reduced insurance premiums maybe.

Not need it, and when I checked it put my insurance up....

We had a GHOST fitted to our previous AMG E53. It made a small difference to the insurance but we'd had warnings that it was a targeted vehicle for the scanner type of theft, so it was a simple decision. My GC on the other hand isn't that advanced, still requires a key etc, so I've not bothered.
The only thing about the GHOST was sometimes is didn't work straight away and we would have to do the sequence again, which is a little frustrating.
