There was a SZ at last Sunday's Pistonheads meet in Oxford. I hadn't seen one close up for some time. hey are still impressive beasts. Real head turners. Personally, I think that the looks are spot on. Though, I'd forgotten how relatively small the car was.

Loving those GTV6s, not bad money either for a piece of history :)

I love the SZ but you need to be of a certain age to apprecaite it because it's no Miura looks-wise.

My Esprit looks horribly dated to Sarah's eyes (it's the same age as her - haven't mentioned that) but I remember them new.

i worry about you lot, liking the Alfa SZ, it is just plain awful

I remember you saying that last time an SZ thread popped up some months back, age not matured you then, you probably had to be alive in the 80's and 90's to appreciate these cars

Alfa SZ is a disease on wheels, horrid things.

You couldnt be more wrong in my view Adam. A simply stunning car. Very few cars in the world who have the same presence in the flesh. saw an RZ at the weekend even rarer beast and they are simply stunning. All the 75 running kit with a gorgeous body what more could you want.

With regard to Alex Jupe, i havent had any work done by him although I have had several discussions with him and will probbaly be using him to rebuild my 3.0 v6 engine in my 75 to fast track spec. He is very well regarded in the 75/GTV circles and a specialist in these models. Ive seen the sz and the 75's he has prep'ed and the work is top notch in my view. I stress i havent ever used him but would def look to in the future.

I'm with Adam on this one...
Well not quite, I wouldn't go as far as saying it is a disease...or vile...
just do not like the looks, never have done, probably never will...
I prefer the look of this SZ...
