Okay, so you guys probably think I need my head read.
Can't argue, but then again I also couldn't ignore the opportunity - if anything it's a good investment. But more than that, I REALLY like it.
It's a rare 1968 DS21 Chapron Decapotable - one of only 1300 odd built, and only two in SA. About 90% restored and now needs cosmetic assembly.
Most I have ever spent on a car....

Always a risk putting up pics of citroens on here with Benny off his leash but ...........I really like that. A touch of class which I would have in a heartbeat!

I'm with you Grant. A design icon. Good luck finishing the restoration.

Potentially stunning. Don't know what you paid, but there'd be no change out of £100,000 here in the UK.

Good luck with the restore and good on you for following your heart.

Hope it all goes well :)

True style in a totally French way, Benny will love it ;)

A cast iron investment, especially if you got it for a good price

These look stunning with the hood down, a real all time favourite of mine, there is a collector in Potters Bar called Dudrich who has a right hand drive mint one of these, one for my wish list.

That car is a work of art I think even Benny, president of the anti French club, has been overheard saying he likes it....he would never admit to it!

Would have one in a heartbeat.

That's a rarity..Congraats on your purchase. I can see the French making some good vehicles every 50 decades..
