Picked her up this afternoon. The 2014 GT Sport is a bit of a change from the VW T5.1 I've been rocking the last few years and the Passat Estate that'll be my daily workhorse / horse box vehicle.
Hoping for some fun days out with the new community I've joined.
No doubt I'll be asking all the normal obvious questions, but I'll try and make good use of the search. Maserati owning tips, tricks and pointers welcome.

Edit: Move these questions to the start where people might see them.

Some initial obvious questions (but I couldn’t find the answer via the search):
1 - Is there a way to get a copy of the build sheet? Guessing contact up the main dealer?
2 - I tried signing up to the owner app, but it says my VIN is in use by another account (guessing previous owner) will the help/support folks let me transfer it to me if I send them a scan of my V5?
3 - Recommendations for a good independent in Worcestershire? I’ve seen Migliore mentioned, but also there’s the Super Car Rooms in Kidderminster and Litchfields (Does a friends McLaren)

Welcome to the club Dan, mine is a 2011 Granturismo S with the same stealth colour scheme. Have had it for a month and still get butterflies every time I get into the driving seat. Enjoy your dream machine!

Thanks guys, I’ve wanted to join the Maserati club for a long time now. Loved the boomerang tail lights of the 3200, and drooled ever since. Given the onward march to electric, I figured now is the time to take the plunge, whilst we can still get away with running these big engined cars, even if I will be demonised by my lycra wearing co-workers.

Previously cars include:
2000 Ford Ka
2001 VW Golf V6 4Motion
2014 VW T5.1 BiTDI 4Motion

Current Daily:
2010 Passat Estate

Sadly I think she’s likely to be a garage queen this winter, as I’ve not got a huge amount of experience with rear wheel drive cars in poor conditions, so I don’t want to push my luck too far. Still there’s worse places to be, see the pic of my recent garage makeover.

I told the wife they only come in black, she wanted me to get a white one, but it’s just not the colour for me.
Superb garage. Puts mine to shame. And you are correct on the black/white argument although there are some other colours that they look fabulous wearing. Is your nero carbonio?

Ermmm lets go with Black ;) On a serious note, and showing how new I am to the Trident family, how do I confirm the exact colour? Guessing there’s an options sticker / decoder somewhere?

I’ll double check in the morning. I’ll be taking her to the office, as I managed to leave both keys to the daily in the door pocket of the T5 the dealer took as part ex on the GT.

Also crawling through the manual, this is my favourite bit so far… Item 25, pocket-change compartment… how much are they expecting me to be carrying in pocket change!!

Welcome along and firstly be very careful with a very fast RWD as it can catch many out if only used to FWD.
Lovely space to park your new stead.
Both Migililore and Super Car Rooms are very well respected.
Have you seen the underside of your car ?
If not get it inspected to make sure it's all in good order.
Lots of threads on here concerning subframes and suspension woes.
Bon Courage.

Thanks for the Heads up! I’ll get her booked in.

Honestly I’m sure I’ve been overtaken by Nuns driving faster than me the last 2 days. Given the used car prices at the moment, GAP (rti) insurance feels like a no brainer, although as always hope never to need it.

Welcome to the forum, lovely GT you have there!

To answer your questions:

1. Yes, the dealer or Maserati customer service can send you this.

2. Yes, customer service will be able to help with the App. But don’t get too excited about it.

3. I have heard good things about Miglore and Supercar Rooms. I don’t recall hearing anything at about Litchfields.

Great car - I welcome it to the area! There's a Winter Wheels event this Sunday (Nov 14) at Worcester's Six Ways (it was at one of these events that I chatted with a sponsor, cherished vehicles, who've given me a good insurance deal) - I keep wondering whether to go or not - but you could pursuade me. I used Supercar Rooms once and only once - they were okay. There is also supposed to be someone who works on Feraris, etc in Tewkesbury.

Definitely don't get your hopes up regarding the app - while the support people will get you in with your V5, there's relatively limited functionality - only model years 2017 and later are properly supported.

Also just logged in to find that somehow either Maserati or Graypaul have managed to change my Stradale on the app to a slightly newer Ghibli Diesel - not a swap I intend to make in real life!

I think I'll be in attendance, most likely weather dependent, there's a group of us that normally end up going. We made it to the last Sunday meet at Spetchley.

I'll be honest I was hoping it might have some of the past service/spec information and maybe direct access to an electronic copy of the manuals etc, I'd imagine it has also got news etc from Maserati / the group. Other than that I wasn't sure what to expect, but I figured it might be worth the effort to get signed up properly.
