I zoomed in as well as I couldn't believe they'd present a car so well with a rust issue. Sorry, but it's armchair expert cr@p like this that irritates the h3ll out of me. I really don't understand why so many people love nothing more than talking cars down on here with absolutely no foundation! Rant over!!

I kind of agree with you for once. However, having had the same problem it can be quite a b!tch to repair, especially where it is at the bottom of the panel as it can stretch down below the bumper. Common problem, but getting an exact paint match with that colour could be a bit of a poser.

Good advice given your experience. My point was more about the fact that there is no rust bubble!

Alas, there is! If you look closely at the 'arty shot' of the rear nearside light cluster there is a rust bubble just above the bumper. Try having a closer look at pic 42, You blind tw4t! ;)

Interesting. Certainly appears to be something on the paintwork in that picture and yet nothing visible on any of the other rear shots. I'd be amazed if they went to the trouble of taking an arty close-up of a rust scab. Where is it in either of these pics?

More interesting that you call me a blind tw@t when you're the ageing buffoon who rammed his car into a static caravan whilst showing off in a car park!!

The further away it is, the harder it is to see you witless dipsh!t! It's there, just accept you were wrong. Knobhead! ;)

Btw, it wasn't a static caravan, it was a stationary RV that jumped out in front of me! ;)

Youre clearly unable to zoom in the photos to make them the same size because of your 'disabled' hand. That and the fact you're a retard. Unless you've been to see the car in person you cannot say for certain. Moron!

from the arm chair expert

Having experienced the rust problem first hand on a vehicle that resides in a much warmer and weather friendly climate, its a ***** to fix PROPERLY. Plenty have been surface covered up but the issue of moisture filtering thru the bronze weld eventually will re appear

point of the post was to alert potential buyers of what looks to be a serious and costly problem

If the Muff poster cares to search I have previously posted examples of the fix in my car.

Not a fan of silver tbh.

Silver looks good as long as the wheels are anthracite for me....Solver shoes the lines off well....

If I was buying a GS the one I would be looking at is the blue one at ADG....but as I said you have to like blue as its blue everywhere..

Thanks, anal01. I'll take a look at your rusty rear end
