Back into classics following my purchase of a 2002 CC Spyder with only 16k on board. So really looking forward to contributing in the future to the forum - you seem a friendly bunch!
Drove down from Edinburgh yesterday only to find a flat battery this morning. Ordered a new battery (Bosch S5008) so I can get out of the garage and take some pics.

It's averaged 250 miles per annum over the last 11 years owing to the owners illness so it will have been a lucky spot!

Not saying you are wrong - I'm sure you recall how much my low mileage Spyder cost me to return to A1 condition. Recovered the expenditure on the sale though, so it was a sound investment

Looks lovely.
Mines only done 16.5K now, 5K over my last 5 years of ownership.
Been absolutely fine.
The fact yours has done a little every year rather than non at all for years will have helped.
Hopefully it has not been used in winter salty weather too so corrosion will not have got hold either.
