they really shouldn't let these muppets lose with valuable classic sports cars like this, they clearly have no respect for them

I just had that discussion, but as it was pointed out to me, if Harris did all the driving, it would be the Chris Harris show (I'd probably like it if it was).

Not the first time Top Gear has crashed a Diablo. Clarkson punted one in to the central reservation just down from Marble Arch

My first question is how on earth did he fit in it?

Snug is an understatement.

Edit. Having Googled his height 6ft 1 1/2 I can see how he'd fit. For some reason I thought he was 6ft 5".

I just about squeezed in and I'm 6ft 3".

Would you buy their black one?? They're good at what they do but what they do, should not include a beauty like that - some of the work they did on that was terrifying!

God no. I was being sarcastic ;) Air bag suspension and they way they just hammered that bracket into 'fit'

It makes you think how does the BBC let these muppets loose in old super cars on public roads when they haven't a clue how to drive them.
That must of been a huge insurance claim for us tax payers
Was Chris Harris on holiday?

Tax payers ? , they pay an insurance premium like everybody else which will either be paid from TV licence fees or the huge revenue top gear brings in for the BBC from worldwide sales

And who pays the BBC, the TV licence payers who don't have any choice!

Dave

Top Gear is one of the BBC’s largest revenue generators, being sold all over the world. They are not spending your licence fee on it, they are actually subsidising other programming that doesn’t make money. Without TG, there wouldn’t be quality like Countryfile and Song of Praise.
