Me too.
I had a silver grey GT3 from new... attached is a painting my dad did of the car. Highlight had to be 160mph for 2 hours heading south on the French autoroute in 1997. Ah those were the days etc etc

Google P22 SPY. Well known car. He will never sell though.Hi Stan,
Hope all is well with you...
Congrats on the purchase of the S4S!!!
Assume from the pictures you posted, you got it from Paul Clugston in Kent...
As you know, my Lotus fascination is huge!!
I had a S2 JPS and it was great even though I wish I could have balanced carbs myself! I only got rid as I got a north of £50k offer for it I could not refuse..
My father in law has had a mustard yellow S4 and they are awesome cars...
Yes, you must be prepared for sh*t to go wrong but the upside is a wonderful ownership and driving experience...
I have been looking for an Orange GT3 for some time.. I always wanted one after I read the John Barker GT3 launch article in Performance Car magazine in 1996 (still have the Mag)..
Re impulse purchases, yes I have made quite a few but as you know, I am lucky to have the space to store them!!
Hope the Strad is keeping well.
Stu
Similar to mine which was P plate, but not sure I like the wheels. You mean something like this https://www.justaudivw.co.uk/used/l...or-sale-in-lincoln-lincolnshire/aetv64510782/
Do you still have it? If not, how long did you have it for?
Well all I can say is that it was the best handling car I have ever driven, by milesGT3 and the lightness of the car, supposed to be the best handling of the Esprit ?
Haha of course, should have read your signature. Interesting evolution though - from TVR to a long history of Lotus, then to Alfa before leaving the Italian and jumped into the M cars. Are the M cars really more reliable ? What about enjoyment of driving?Had it for two years and it was my daily drive and all the better for it. it was a 30th birthday present to myself and I loved it. Such an event......It was the car that started my love of Lotus and I was lucky enough to go on to own 8 Lotus over the years.
Would love to get an oil painting for my MC Stradale ... any artist on this forum?Me too.

Me, of the píss variety though........Would love to get an oil painting for my MC Stradale ... any artist on this forum?
Is that correct? Being a British car... And so presumably predominantly RHD, I'd have thought this a very low production number? If you're only selling 64 to UK, then you'd get less than 30 to other RHD markets such as Seth afreeka, singers, honkers, Oz, nu zilland, etc. I know GT3 had low volumes, but I thought s4s was higher than that?there wer only 64 RHD made for UK.
An astute purchase... And still heading north at a decent trajectory. Very few of these to be had now... And asking prices are quite absurd.Bought a 1994 UK spec Toyota Supra back in December last year
Of course, M3 CSL, ultimate driving machine, and (I hope) a top investment as the price appreciated, and still does! Hope you did not sell too early on.Ah, they aren't in any order on my signature...…..Esprit was first then the E30 M3...…Integrale……...Alfa GTV.....Then the string of Lotus with the Maserati in the middle..…...M3...M3 CSL.....TVR …..Then M5.....Then two children and a bigger house to put the children in.
I never had any reliability issues with the Lotus I owned and used all of them as a daily drive. The BMW's were pretty much un-burstable, or mine were...…..Alfa's and Lancia were made out of bake beans tins and the quality wasn't great but the best of the bunch was the V6 GTV....Loved that little car. TVR T350T was great and glad I had it but wouldn't have another. Far to much a pain to warm it up and wondering if it would start to be warmed up.. Not a car you could get in and just drive. Best car I have owned by a country mile was the M3 CSL...…
Did not think much about it, bought it on (again) impulse because I used to have 2 different supras in Australia before coming over to UK in 2004. If only I kept the 2000 6 speed supra with only 10k on odometer. An astute purchase... And still heading north at a decent trajectory. Very few of these to be had now... 3 years ago an RZ 6spd was half the price of a Gransport. Now it's double.
Well, not sure how they got the number, I think they exported quite a few to US as well. I think there should be 19x GT3, and about 300 S4s in total, so GT3 is rare for sure. Anyway, bought the car on the fact that it was owned by a lotus enthusiast for 17.5 years. This is my way of shopping for cars now -uaing the forums. I bought Stu's MC Strad on this forum as well !Is that correct? Being a British car... And so presumably predominantly RHD, I'd have thought this a very low production number?
