As the title says :) used to be quite a few on eBay but can’t seem to find any decently priced ones these days.

There are a couple of sets on FB marketplace..
Talking of which, why is FB marketplace full of so many scam adverts?

And they just will post anything. Two listings for the same tatty Saab V4 Monte Carlo with 930k km on the clock come up. Ghiblis at £6k. Profiles, often middle aged females, claiming to be selling dozens of cars often with multiple listings of the same car at different locations in the UK.

FB doesn't even have a Report button for these scam adverts (at least not on the phone app).

Because they can. Amusingly I had a post telling me my page had been compromised and that I should click a link to change my username and password. Clearly I did the right thing, and reported it to Facebook.....

....who are happy it doesn't go against their community standards....... :lol2:

Thank you all!

I’ve made an offer for the ones on FB Marketplace, which he has accepted. Hope it’s not a scam…

Anyone want a set of Astro’s for a good price?

This is them! They will need to be repainted.

I personally would want to see them in the flesh and then transfer cash. I prefer to drive and collect rather than risk it when on fb. Pay using PayPal and at least you have some protection if buying unseen.

I’ve made a deal with the person selling them and will pick them up on Sunday that was quick and thanks to the forum for the valuable insights!!

I’ll be posting a new post for my Astros once they’re off my car!

Any thoughts on the benchmark price for a set of 20" alloys that fit a Gran Cabrio? Style and colour mostly irrelevant, as they would just be for winter tyres. There's a set on ebay currently at £620, and another set (complete with dodgy tyres) for £900 or best offer. I presume the benchmark price is somewhere between those 2 numbers, but would be interested in any other data.

Given they will have winters on them, why not get a set of 19". There are probably more around at a lower price. Alternative is some cheap aftermarkets.

I picked up a set of trident designs for £500 in the past. I think I was lucky as they were unused.
