Anyone know where to get these?

Off my Larinis. Not sure if they are a GS std part of or a Larini part.

Any idea where they can be obtained - none of the drawings at Eurospares or ScuderiaParts show the valves. Googleing the numbers reveals nothing.

They are all going to be pretty much the same. The biggest issue *might* be throw of the arm. But I rather doubt it. The pressure activation I suspect is going to be pretty standard. Can't believe that manifold vacuum varies that much.

Arnie, does the valve actually move? It might be worthwhile just cutting it all out and welding in a new one

I think actuator just bolts on to a bracket Chris. As long as the valve is working you can just change the actuator. Its just the valve that is welded in place.

I would check the valve is free moving by hand first as the actuator may be fine.

Sorry that's sort of what I was driving at. If the actuator and the valve are both stuffed, it's probably easier to replace. But yes, if it's just the actuator, just replace that :)

spkenneyuk - Those are the ones = part number format is the same! Mine work, its just they are very corroded. I'm replacing anything on the bottom of my car that has any corrosion with either new Maserati, or pref something that wont rust again. Anything that's plated I'm getting redone, even if its new Maserati parts!

Result :) if your replacing them it might be worth putting a coat or two of super resin polish or similar on them before you put them on. it should help keep the corrosion at bay for a year or two longer.

I'm still toying with the idea of having valves fitted to the Tubi back boxes I have. Just to tone it down when needed. Let us know if Helical sell them direct or if they have a UK stockist.

I few years ago I found a rust cure called Rustbuster FE-123 and the associated paint system. Creates a finish hard as a rock and impenetrable to moisture - so I'll paints them (and a fair few other pits of the car) with that when fitting.

Hi Arnie,

Did you find a source of the vacuum actuators?

Looks like I might need to replace one of mine - OEM GS rear boxes

Been given Milltek as a contact but no answer as yet.

I ended up speaking to a number of Uk suppliers and I was pointed to Miltek but no joy on buying one separate unit. In the end I bought one from China via eBay. Worked a treat after adjusting the fitting slightly and was fast delivery.

Mine are en route as I type. A bit cheaper than those but not by much :)

Have to say, those ones don't look very open. I had this problem all across ebay.
