I find mine sluggish, if your smart TV can download Kodi app, do it that way as the processor and bus will be faster and less laggy....well, you would think so wouldn't you.
If your want portability, get the firestick then you can take it where every you go.
or, as its only £30, get both.

Amazon Tv Box is much more powerful than the stick, and is only the size of a box of thin cigars. Much better option IMHO

Just to complicate things, if you are contemplating buying the Firestick, hold off, the new quad-core Firestick has been released in the US.... this is why the old dual-core Firestick being sold in the UK is so cheap at the moment.

The box is great. If you use Amazon Prime for deliveries etc then "free" Prime Video is a nice bonus. There's a ton of great content on there now. Lots of good films and original programming.

I am a prime member and the content is limited especially movies, most of the ones I want to watch are not included and are £5.99 to view which is a rip off. I'll stick to Showbox.

At the legitimate end of the spectrum, if there's something in particular you want then I agree that Prime is weak. Apple is better, especially if you can pick up some US iTunes vouchers and set up an account there. You can buy vouchers online, albeit at a small premium, but the crappy pound means that the prices aren't as good as they were.

I have an Apple TV, an older one which I only use to mirror my iPhone/iPad now TBH.
The great thing about the FS is we can take them to Le Mans and stream everything we want, F1, Footy and Le Mans from the comfort of our Gite

Deadpool is very much my sense of humour. Great film although the follow up isnt due for a few years.
One of my favourite quote from the film is near the end when he takes both his maskes off to reveal his face and his GF says " thats the kind of face i could learn to sit on." Plenty of other quick fire jokes in the film as well including the kitty litter and fat gandalf.

We were trying to get the live race feed at night after we left the track but the wifi signal wasnt up to it.
