not sure about that drop test tbh ive dropped my s3 loads of time and once from a moving car... nada problems little scuffed around the edges but thats it.. might be luck.

that said i took my ipad3 into the bath room and was watching a film during a nice relaxing bath when it dropped into the bath pulled it out and works fine with nps at all.

I updated my iphone 4 to IOS6 last week. All seemed fine for a day, until it crashed. I couldn't reload the software so took it to an Apple Reseller in Bonn, Germany (I was on holiday last week). They spent 2-3 hours on it and reckon it's definitely software and it's definitely completely ******.

So, I'm currently using a Nokia 3100! - I have to delete texts to allow new ones to be received - old school! Not sure I can cope with the 3-4 weeks with this until I can get an iPhone 5.

If it ain't broken, don't fix it. I cant understand the mad rush to install every latest update, most people won't notice the difference. IMO, it just gives them an excuse to play with their phones to 'see how it works'.

It's not that it's a mad rush - you just get a popup on your phone asking you to update - and select yes or no. Generally there's no issue unless you wear a tinfoil hat; you just click 'yes' and get on with your life. Obviously this didn't quite work with my phone....but I can only assume that there's some underlying fault.

Apple is rotten. Battery life as usual is rubbish on all iPhones. Ipad is nice though. I have just bought 2 Samsung Galaxy S3 on Tmobile business deal £34.00 month all common landline numbers free. Samsung Galaxy S3 is the phone of the year. What is can't do is not worth talking about.

I prefer Samsung to Apple for phones, but all my computers ( tablet, laptop and PC) are Apple. My only problem; I can't seem to get Kies working so I can't transfer my photos to my laptop.

Have the ios6 update come on my phone yesterday and never knew what to do....will i loose my pics and txts if i say yes??

Also im die an upgrade on my 4 and was given the 5 if i wanted it.....aint made up my mind yet

While we're on this, is there an easy way to upload a pic to here from an iPhone? I've got a couple of good ones and I never use my laptop to view SM.

I normally have to move my photos from my I-pad to my MacBook because the bl00dy thing won't let me do anything with them. Some aspects of Apple software really are sh!t. For example, if you import photos onto an i-phone or i-pad, you cant delete them. Why? The i-pad has a lot of shortcomings, IMO, it's not as good as the hype suggests it is.

That's why I've not yet bought one. I may get a tablet but doubt it'll be an iPad. I need one that runs on windows I think.

The new IOS6 let's you choose photos as attachments. Click on attachment in "go advanced" when you are posting, click "add files" and ios6 asks if you want to take a new photo or use an existing one ... This is a test !
