We have a nice picture thread, and one for the feminine form, so I just thought I'd start an art thread to counter the drift elsewhere.

What is art? A car? A canvas? A sculpture? Architecture? or just something that is pleasing to the eye?

More importantly - what's it worth?

Discuss, preferably with examples.

A friend of ours is professional photographer mainly car stuff but in his spare time he makes up photo collages of iconic locations made up of hundreds of individual photos taken at different times.

Mrs Z bought me this print some years ago

A couple of years ago I was talking to Ade and he told me he still had the original so I managed to persuade him to sell it to me for Mrs Zs 50th. It's twice the size and the 3d impact of having the photos layered on top of each other really make it pop. Every time I look at it I see something new

So we now have the original and a print
