Dear all, there is a GTS for sale on Collecting Cars approaching £28k (
https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2009-maserati-granturismo-s). It looks like a nice one, I was wondering if you agree. Cheers
On the face of it, that looks a really decent car, if your a fan of the 'Dog Knob Red' (forum joke) interior.
It has all the most wanted options - comfort pack, Bose, Front parking sensors.
It has either been VERY well looked after, or has had money spent ready for sale, as for that mileage, it has none of the interior damage/peeling in the usual places, the 1&R buttons look brand new etc...
MC-Shift for the drama, and best sound available on a GT , New clutch just 2k miles ago is an absolute bonus!
It's a late 2009 as it has the 'slit' in the dash for the passenger airbag, which also means it's almost definitely had the revised variators and waterpipe from the factory (but check the engine number to be sure)
New tyres - But shame its the Pirelli.
From the pics, the brake disks look like a potential future cost, as it looks like they are fairly worn from the lip, but no big deal.
Also, at that sort of mileage, if not already done, the suspension bushes will probably need replacing.
Get someone in the know to inspect it, and go in with your eyes open
Look at -
Subframe corrosion, especially at the wishbone attachment points
Suspension Bushes
oil leaks from the cam-cover gaskets
AC compressor bearings
Are you gonna go for it?
