Currently the Fleet contingent are aiming for a n 8.45 arrival at Brooklands. Should we aim to get their earlier? Would be a shame to have our spots allocated elsewhere...

How would they be allocated elsewhere? Whoever gets there first notify the stewards that they are part of the SM and ask to be parked in the dedicated SM display area, once there I suggest they help identify each member by asking if they are part of it or we each say we are Part of the SM massive. There should be at least 15 spaces.

If we have a pre-allocated area then I'm happy. Even just 15 minutes more in bed would be welcomed.

Picked up the Ghibli after the engine fettling, looked perfect and runs better. Drove it back along A3 in rain, snow, hail and then bright sunshine. What is up with this weather. Comedy windscreen wipers actually made it harder to see. Car is now caked in white stuff... I have an hour to wash it before I head off out for the night. Hope to see some of you tomorrow.

Right, those traveling from the east and other exotic places: we're aiming to be passing through Banana Country at around 8.15. Dan, we should meet around 7 I reckon. On arrival at Brooklands, Crud major and I will be heading straight for the coffee and bacon & egg butty counter.

As I haven't got an advance ticket I will probably get in the queue for the 8.30 entrance otherwise I could find myself in general pop!

How rude, Dem! I'll throw up if I see you as well.

You should be able to buy online and just get the ticket via email, or bring the order confirmation with you printed out.

I am nearer than most folks making the cross country journey - 15 minutes. I can be at Tesco at 830 and then as soon as we have a few can make it to entry gates and ask for SM area.
Do remember bank holiday traffic starts early and can be an annoying factor.
Start earlier if you can.

Brooklands are only marginally better than Ace for food!

Washed my peasant mobile. No rain 10 miles from Adam?! :)

Now sat in the pub with car outside with no roof on, and blue skies. You must live in a micro climate Adam. Hahaha

Washed mine this afternoon, 10 minutes later rain. At least it is only rain water and nothing that a detailing microfibre cloth and some nice quick detailing spray can't sort!

Guys, I'll be at Fleet Services, north bound before 8 near the petrol station on the way out but I am planning to leave at 8am as its half an hour to Brooklands and I don't want to be shoved out the back.

It's a long way out of my way to go up he M3 so I may go up the A3 and light Hindhead tunnel up, anyone want to join me?

It's then straight up the A3 and you don't have to get on the M25 at all.

Seems like I am one of the lucky ones, the sun has been shining into the evening in Godalming, managed to wash and wax!

Can you leave the show an hour or two early?
