If you highlight the link for whatever car you are looking at the date it was placed is in there. Doesn’t work on the app though obviously

Intersting info, I saw that on Jayemm's video too. But, it's also stupid at Autotrader relies on the over-charging of the same dealers that the extension
is now highlighting as having stock reductions etc. Not the wisest business model I've seen. All is takes is for a similar, better priced, alternative to come
along and Autotrader could well find themselves with major accounts jumping ship. It happens, ask Pistonheads, EBay, Exchange&Mart.....

Having had a quick look I am >99.99% sure that this is not developed by Autotrader.....

Not developed by autotrader but AT could easily change how the website works to make doing this sort of tracking a lot harder

Always the way. However I would not be surprised if that would break quite a lot of other 'stuff' around their endpoints and API's. Not saying it would, but won't be at all surprised if we see no changes at all (other than the occasional 'Oh the tracker's broken! Oh now they've released a version that works' kind of stuff.

Software is complex and tends to have many interrelated parts, many of which will not be obvious to those outside the delivery cycle. Decisions taken years ago can have impact on decisions taken today

There's also an MOT History chekcer too. Very useful to see the vartiation in prices we've all seen before....

Thanks, Can't seem to get it to work, wants to see my email address and can't configure that part....?

Assuming you have downloaded Chrome, sign in with a gmail address (or sign up to google with a non-google address). Once you are signed into the browser it will let you download it.

Not enough Firefox users for AT to care. AT is aimed at the mass market sheep.

Good spot though. My future AT browsing will be on Firefox.
