:omg:

...will you go back to a GS

I have an Alfa 4C on order but I am driving around in my deposit for my commercial property which is about to start being built.

I will go for the 4C but the original plan was to make £5k or so on it by selling it per delivery.

I might go for a Spyder next time but I won't have more than £15k to play with, not sure yet, if I could get a early GS maybe that as I really like those cars.

Either way it won't be the lavish car I currently have.

Might even go 3200 auto if a cheap project comes up.

My dates in September are the 8th to the 18th inclusive. If it's within there, VincEnzo and I will be there in my Dee Bee Nine. Did I mention it will have over 600bhp by then..?

And thankfully a switchable exhaust :)

Bad news on the Lambo factory tour I'm afraid.

The factory is shut to the public due to production of the new Gallardo, Aventador Spyder, and the hideous SUV thing.
Apparently access to the museum at the front door is still available. Not sure how big the museum is, I'll make enquiries.

This may in fact be a blessing in disguise... 3 days of factory tours may be too much for even the most enthusiastic petrolheads amongst us.
Depending on how big the museum is it may be a case of tagging it on to one of the other days and keeping the chill day?

Your thoughts....?

We will get Le Mans out the way then start to firm up dates and get things booking.

Never a chore Benny, always a pleasure. I need to get the excitement of the classics out of my system then I can focus on this trip.

Just catching up on the forum and spotted this thread.
Looking at your dates - just a reminder that 9th September is the Italian F1 GP in Monza
(M and I are driving the 3200 down for it and have our factory tour booked for the 6th :))

May make hotels and things in the area a bit busy.

In addition to the Ferrari museum, Maserati also suggested the Panini Motor museum

Cheers

Thanks Gordon, I'll keep it in mind, we could even combine that too, what a mental trip that would make.
