Despite not intending to seriously look to get another Maserati until later on in the year I got an opportunity to acquire another 3200 at a price I'd be silly to say no to. It's got 100k on the clock, but it has full service history,a Tubi exhaust, the all important end float is good, and in fact so is pretty much everything else on it. Needs some TLC here and there such as a couple alloys refurbing and sticky buttons cleaning up, but otherwise on the whole it's in remarkably good nick.

Drove home this evening 100miles in it and not glitch to be had. Happy days. I had forgotten how addictive the torque of that twin turbo V8 was!

I've already got Dem's grill that he had for sale to go on it, new number plates in the post and the DA polisher is ready for some work at the weekend!

Will post some better pictures once I've got it all spruced up later on in the weekend.

Cheers guys.. expected it to be a bit of a heap, but she's worn the miles well and been looked after by Mike at the Maserati Shed the past few years so was in quite a sound state.

The only thing that was stopping me pushing the go button was the really poor state of the chrome grill knowing how hard they are to get hold of... Dem to the rescue! The timing couldn't have been any better. I must have just got back from viewing the car when Dem's for sale went live!

Looking forward to getting her back to tip top condition ready for a potential Modena dash this September... fingers crossed!

Matt,

This one came with a spare too! So if you want to borrow it for Le Mans just say.

Like buses hey Mark?

I also bought a collapsible spacesaver too so the forum now has one of each for the 3200 and 4200/GS

Yeah, the mileage really doesn't bother me. At the end of the day it's a 13 year old car and it equates to around 8k a year, which is probably a nice amount of use. Old cars with very low milage worry me as I'm guessing all the rubber seals are one start away from completely perished! :)

Bravo! Very nice car... Couldn't agree more on the miles - far better being used than allowed to perish.

Nice looking colour combo - enjoy
The handbrake looks a little vertical - mine was the same - failed its MoT as the shoes are non existent on one side.
PS the weather forecast is not good for weekend

Oh yeah the handbrake is useless.. used to that from the last one! Will be disassembling it all and rebuilding in the next couple of days..

Looks like Saturday will be a write-off in terms of whether but Friday and Sunday look promising.

Cheers
